MESSAGE FROM MS.STAROSTECKI We hope you have a great summer and we look forward to seeing everyone again in September!  You will receive an email from  your  child’s new teacher in August. The first day of school is on  Tuesday, September 4 .  This will be a full day. Please call the school if  your  child is going to be absent that first morning. This is very important as we juggle changes in our registration numbers on that first day. School supply information can be found on our website at     http://rbes.blackgold. ca/parents/school-supplies/    You can order packages throughout the summer, however, there is an additional charge of $5 after August 1, 2018. MESSAGE FROM MS.STAROSTECKI Thank you to our 1C parent volunteers! REMINDERS FUN DAY  on  June 25th  (afternoon)  FREE SWIM DAYS  from  June 25th and June 27th  from 10:20am to 11:00am . Your child will need to bring a towel and bathing suit for those two days. Permission form can be filled out on Powerschool. I am still looking for  one more volunteer for both days  to swim with our students.  SUMMER SEASONAL WALK  on  June 26th  from 11:30am - 2:30pm. The grade 1 students will walk to spray park and will be eating their lunches at the spray park. Please pack a bagged lunch for that day. The students will have the rest of the afternoon to play at the spray park. Please have your child  bring a towel, bathing suit, sunscreen and a hat. I recommend the students wear their bathing suits under their clothes that day.  LAST DAY OF SCHOOL  is  June 27th .  HIGLIGHTS OF THE WEEK Monday - Water Games Day
