Classroom Updates Thank you to all the Parent Volunteers who helped out during Skating Week, it was much appreciated! Our next Skating Week is February 13-16 . Congratulations to our Student of the Week! Any additional books that your child reads may be recorded in their R.E.D. folder reading log.  I cannot stress the importance of practicing the Rainbow Words with your child every day. Classroom Updates For Skating Week , be sure to fill out the online permission form!See below for the Skating Schedule and let me know what days you are able to attend. Students need to wear CSA approved helmets (i.e. hockey helmets, horseback riding helmets, and downhill skiing helmets). No bike helmets will be allowed . The school does have skates and helmets that can be borrowed by students should they find they do not have skates that fir or helmet. All students must wear their outdoor jackets and gloves and snow pants are encouraged.  Skating Schedule For the Winter Carnival , make sure to freeze the water in milk cartons not plastic jugs! Classroom Updates We have built up our Reading Stamina and now it is time to put it good use! The Grade 1's will be begin  Daily 5  rotations on Tuesday.  The rotations include:  Read to Self, Listen to Reading, Word Work, Work with a Teacher, and Read to Someone.
