Language Arts I read the book, Ira Sleeps Over by Bernard Waber , to 1C this week. Our phonological awareness activities revolved around this book. Ira Sleeps Over is a delightful story about of a little boy who struggles with whether or not to bring his favourite teddy bear, Tah Tah, to his first sleep over at a friend's house. Ira doesn't want his friend to laugh at him, but is concerned that he has never slept without Tah Tah. Ira weighs the pros and cons, aided by some solicited and unsolicted advice from family members. Without his teddy, Ira enjoys the night until the boys tell scary stories...

Please return the folders and books on Monday .  All library books are due June 9. There is a prize for the first class to bring in all of their books so please encourage your kiddos to bring back their books.  I will be sending individual emails to those students that have overdue materials or unpaid fines.
